I am not even going to explain here what I am talking about. Just go there! And by there, I mean here.
Ummm, why are you still here when you should be there?
(Just in case it wasn't obvious enough, by "here" I mean here: http://yarbroughwriter.blogspot.com/). Cya!

Avengers Assemble!!!!
So we are getting pretty excited for The Avengers around these parts. Landon and I are going to see it on Saturday as part of our Free Comic Book Day celebration. I have high hopes for the movie. I also heard they may be introducing some new characters...

I posted this on my tumblr, but I figured I would stick it here too since probably about 3 people in the world know my tumblr exists...

Top 5 Shows Ever
So Christa and I went to see Arcade Fire tape a show for Austin City Limits (scratch that off the bucket list) this Saturday and I couldn't help but think that 2 of the top 5 shows I had been to were Arcade Fire shows. So for kicks, here they are:
- Arcade Fire @ The Backyard (05/2011)
- Dave Matthews Band @The Greek Theater in Berkeley (08/1995)
- Dr. Frank solo acoustic @ The Bottom of the Hill (07/1999)
- Arcade Fire @ Austin City Limits (09/2011)
- Aquabats Cadet Summit @ somewhere in SoCal (04/2000)

Almost, but not quite...
So I know I haven't been blogging at all, and I don't expect that to change much in regards to this blog, but I do have some news coming soon. It's nothing earth-shattering, but it is kind of a big deal to me and I am very excited about it.
In the meantime you can always check out my Twitter feed if you are wondering what I am up to. Not that I have been tweeting much of late either.
Until next time!

Hahahahahaha!
Ah, the things Google finds for us when we are looking for something else...
Read this.
Now read this.
Eerily "similar" aren't they? Just more proof that morals and the internet don't go together like peas and carrots. Crap like this is a big part of why I got out of serious blogging.
**UPDATE** - Nevermind going to the second link now, I got them to take their review down. In a nutshell, they copied my review almost word for word and posted it as their own. I'll update again with more details later.

Some Things Really Are Worth The Wait
So before I begin, I understand that there is about a 1% chance that someone will actually read and/or give a crap about this post (down from the usual 4% for my other posts), but I don't care...
So Batman: Arkham Asylum came out yesterday after a couple delays and it is sublime. I don't play nearly as many games as I used to, but it seems like truly great games are a lot fewer and far between these days. That said, Arkham is the best game I have played in a long time (even though it was hyped up about as much as The Dark Knight).
Even if you are not a big Batman fan this game would still stand out as a great action/adventure game. If you are a Batman fan though this game is a little slice of geek heaven. It is amazing how much Batman miscellanea they have crammed into this game, and it is all presented in a very rewarding and easy to access way.
One last thing (because again, I realize nobody cares), while all the voice acting in the game is really well done Mark Hamill steals the show as the Joker. He was always great as the Joker in the old Batman animated series, but he takes the creepy hilarity to a new level here. There were moments where I literally laughed out loud, and I'm only a couple hours in.
So yeah, if you have a 360 or a PS3 do yourself a favor and pick this game up. You won't be sorry.
